Unfortunately I didn't have a whole lot of time to enjoy the water park as it was a very busy couple of days full of setting up, presenting, and cricuting (yes I said cricuting)! I presented twice at the Google Conference, once repeating my Digital Bell Ringers presentation; apparently it was a hit at OETC and then a new one called From LA to Tokyo with Google's Geo Tools.
I can't tell you enough how much I LOVE Google's Geo Tools and how easy it is to integrate these tools into your daily classroom lessons. I promise to do a post soon on just Google's Geo Tools and the classroom integration.
As for the cricuting, before the Google Summit I loved using my Cricut, now I don't want to touch that thing for a VERY VERY long time! We decided to model our Cricuts and the possible classroom uses at the conference, as well as make fun little things for winners at our booth; by the end of each day I was covered in sticky cricuting paper! I even had it stuck to the bottom of my shoe and my hair!!
All in all it was a wonderful conference and of course I came home exhausted and so happy to see my couch!
