- Don't schedule your class to run over the weekend - no one likes to spend their entire weekend going to school (even if it is rainy).
- Make sure that whomever is supposed to send the syllabus to the students actually sends the syllabus to the students.
- When your entire class is staring at you with daggers in their eyes don't take offense, they just hate technology and you and the final project you're giving them.
- Be kind, be helpful, and be supportive they'll love you in the end!
Overall the class wasn't terrible after we got over the fact that they never received my syllabus and had no idea about the final project. Also to be fair they were honest and told me from the start they hated technology and had no idea what or how to use it in their classroom but we overcame that and they all created some pretty amazing blended lessons for their subject/grade level. I was really proud of them and the fact that even when they were completely frustrated they didn't give up, we worked through it! Kuddos to my first class you guys were amazing!
